While NFL player Michael Vick only remained broke for a short time, he could be worth a lot more than he is today. For those of you who might not know, in 2007, Vick was found guilty of harboring a dogfighting ring at his home. Unsurprisingly, a jury quickly convicted him, and Vick needed to do some jail time.
Afterward, Vick’s $130 million contract went out the window, and he was left with nothing. However, Vick managed to make a huge comeback when he returned to the NFL. So it’s safe to say that he’s no longer completely broke. Still, many owners have said they would never sign Vick as a player, due to his horrible past.
