As you might imagine, the first place that Jessica Stuart started was the internet. With Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, it seemed impossible that someone would just fall through the cracks. However, as Stuart combed the social media sites, she found no signs of Fukue. Her childhood friend had no online presence whatsoever – it was as if she had fallen off the face of the Earth!
The more time that passed, the more Stuart realized she could only do so much from a computer in Canada. In order to truly search for Fukue, she would need to have some help on the Japanese side of things…
