Rose, seen on the left, grew up extremely close to her grandmother and found it hard to imagine a life without her. A few years after her grandmother died, Rose decided to have the painting appraised, taking it to the PBS show, Antiques Roadshow. There, the appraiser gave her a number that stopped Rose’s world. Never in a million years could she have predicted that her grandmother’s old painting would be worth that much!
