Many would agree that legendary actress Winona Ryder defined the ‘90s in the way that no other did. As one of the most memorable faces of the era, Ryder remains many’s favorite ’90s crush. The actress got her breakthrough thanks to Tim Burton’s horror comedy Beetlejuice. Ryder then went on star in hit films like The Age of Innocence, Edward Scissorhands, and Little Women.
After going through a series of personal struggles in the ‘00s, Ryder made appearances in films like Star Trek and Black Swan. Then, in 2016, Ryder made a huge comeback on T.V. when she accepted the role of Joyce Byers in Netflix’s Stranger Things. This nostalgic horror became an instant hit, earning Ryder a nomination for the Golden Globes and SAG Awards.
