Believe it or not, singer Gwen Stefani was only a 17-year-old teen when her older brother Eric asked her to join his ska band No Doubt in 1986. Afterward, their catchy tunes hypnotized the United States, with hit single “Don’t Speak” propelling them to international stardom in 1995.
Eventually, Stefani went on to start a solo career in the early ‘00s, one of the best decisions she’s ever made. Her debut album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. became an instant hit with songs like Hollaback Girl and Rich Girl. While Stefani is continuously working on new material, music is no longer her sole focus. She was also one of the judges on the hit T.V. competition The Voice, where she met her long-time boyfriend and fiancée, Sheldon Blake.
