Before she became a successful actress, Mandy Moore hypnotized the world with her angelical voice. In 1999, she released her debut single, “Candy,” from her debut album, So Real. At the time, Moore had the same vibe as some of the most popular female pop artists of the era, including Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Moore even toured with hit boy band Backstreet Boys and N’SYNC.
While Moore released a total of six studio albums, audiences are more familiar with her acting projects. In 2002, she landed the leading role of the teen drama A Walk to Remember. From there, she went on star in teen comedies like Saved! and Chasing Liberty. What’s more, she also found success as a voice actress, most notably with Disney’s Tangled. Most recently, she’s hit the big time again as Rebecca Pearson from the NBC series This Is Us.
