Actress-producer Meg Ryan remains one of the most recognizable faces from the ‘90s. She began her acting career in 1981 in small TV roles before joining the cast for the drama hit As the World Turns in 1982. From there, Ryan continued to score significant roles in the ‘80s, most notably Top Gun, achieving worldwide fame.
However, Ryan did not truly establish herself as a celebrity crush until the ’90s with her turns in romantic comedies like Sleepless in Seattle, French Kiss, and When a Man Loves a Woman. These days, Ryan spends most of her time behind the camera directing. Her debut, Ithaca, debuted to stellar reviews in 2015.
