Shannen Doherty is a woman of many talents who has worked as an actress, producer, and television director. Doherty first started as an actress in the ‘80s, with roles on shows like Little House on the Prairie and Girls Just Want to Have Fun. However, it wasn’t until the ‘90s, when she scored the role of Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 that Doherty became a household name and iconic crush.
In 2008, 14 years after her last appearance as Brenda Walsh, Doherty joined the cast of the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off in four of the initial six episodes. Then in 2019, the actress once again reprised her role of Walsh for the six-episode sequel BH90210, which debuted on Fox. Sadly, the actress has been battling cancer breast since 2016, announcing in 2020 that she’s now progressed into stage four.
