Comedian Bill Glass always knew that he could find a career in Hollywood, ever since he started doing sketch comedy in high school. “I told my parents you can give me the money you’re going to spend on college, and I can go to L.A. now, or I can go to college and come home and I’m going to try this anyway. They’re like – you go to college!” he said in a recent interview.
Right after graduating college, Glass proved just how right he was: he’s managed to retain a solid acting career, mostly in commercials. Most famously, Glass starred in a series of commercials for Progressive Insurance, where he portrays a boring salesman.
