Who can forget the fall of Ray Rice? It feels like it happened yesterday! A few years ago, this athlete enjoyed plenty of success on the Baltimore Ravens. However, that call came crashing down in 2014, when video emerged of Rice physically abusing his fiancée. Days later, Rice found himself in police custody and, unsurprisingly, dropped from the Ravens.
Afterward, almost all of Rice’s wealth went to pay for legal fees and penalties, and he lost over $25 million. Don’t expect to see this free agent return anytime soon, despite the fact that he has since reconciled with his now-wife.
