Not to be confused with the currently active three-time Pro-Bowler running back, Mark Ingram Jr., his father, Mark Ingram Sr. was actually the wide receiver who helped the New York Giants win the 1991 Super Bowl against the Buffalo Bills. Afterward, Ingram Sr. got his fair share of financial – and legal – troubles following the peak of his career in 1996.
You see, Ingram got himself involved in a money-laundering scene and even intended to defraud the IRS. Of course, once authorities caught wind of the scheme, they arrested Ingram and sentenced him to seven years in prison. Not only that, but Ingram was also obligated to pay a total of $250,000 in fines, which of course took another hefty chunk out of his net worth!
