As you likely know, Oprah is the ruler of a media empire that all started with her popular talk show. From it, the Queen of TV spawned a new TV network, magazine, publishing company, among many other Harpo brands.
Most recently, smart investing helped Winfrey earn an even bigger paycheck. In 2014, Winfrey bought a 10% stake in the weight-loss giant Weight Watchers for $43 million.
