While Ashton Kutcher may play a dummy on hit sitcoms like Two and a Half Men, The Ranch, and That ’70s Show, he has actually made a string of profitable investments in the tech world. Back in 2010, Kutcher co-founded the firm A-Grade Investments, and just three years later it was already worth $100 million!
Some of A-Grade’s smartest investments include supporting mega-brands like Flipboard, FourSquare, Airbnb, and Path. Meanwhile, privately, Kutcher managed to invest in both Skype and Uber before they went public. Talk about a celebrity who knows how to handle his money! So what does Kutcher look for in a company? “I look for companies that solve problems in intelligent and friction-free ways and break boundaries,” he told the New York Times in 2012.
