One of the most famous actresses of all time, Dame Mirren has starred in everything from The Madness of King George and The Long Good Friday to Hitchcock and Red 2. Over the years, she’s also managed to become the only person world to win the Triple Crown of Acting in both the United States and the United Kingdom: an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Tony Award, a Laurence Olivier Award, a British Academy Television Awards, and an Emmy Award.
Behind the scenes, Dame Mirren married American film director Taylor Hackford, who’s helmed hits like The Devil’s Advocate and Ray, back in 1997. Now, the couple lives in the United States, on Lake Tahoe in the state of Nevada.
