It’s no secret that Warren Buffett is a hard worker and lives a modest lifestyle. Despite amassing a massive fortune worth $74 billion, Buffett still lives in the house in Omaha, Nebraska, he bought back in 1958 for $31,000.
When it comes to passing along his fortune, the “Oracle of Omaha” has pledged to spread the wealth well beyond the Buffett family tree in his will. In fact, Buffett shared the reasoning behind his commitment to giving away 99% of his fortune to charities at the New York Public Library. “I’m not an enthusiast for dynastic wealth, particularly when six billion others have much poorer hands than we do in life.”
