Singer-songwriter John Denver founded a charity called The World Hunger Project in the middle of his career. Of course, it’s no secret that Denver felt extremely dedicated to environmental causes, and the World Hunger Project sought to end hunger in an environmentally friendly way.
Tragically, Denver died in a plane crash back in 1997. At the time, Denver had three children, Jesse Belle, Zachary, and Anna Kate, as well as two adopted children. Unfortunately, what he did not have was a will. As a result, a bitter legal battle ensued in which both Denver’s children and his ex-wives fought over his estate. In the end, the children split everything amongst themselves.
