There’s a reason that you rarely see Miley Cyrus without makeup. As it turns out, as a young girl, she suffered from bad acne. “I had kind of bad skin when I was younger and that was always my insecurity, especially being on TV,” Cyrus said in a recent interview. “You get out of control, you start reaching for whatever and you end up messing up your face. Let professionals do it and don’t start getting in there and giving yourself scars.”
Thankfully, recently, Cyrus has felt more and more comfortable heading out of the house sans-cosmetics. In fact, the singer even recently started sharing selfies without makeup! We’re glad she’s starting to feel more confident in her own skin.
