Legendary actress Angela Bassett, who will star in the forthcoming Black Panther II, met her husband, actor Courtney B. Vance, in 1980. While it took them until 1997 to marry, they have remained happily so since then and have also welcomed a set of twins. You think, at this point, the couple could do nothing to surprise one another. Think again! Apparently, Vance could barely handle Bassett’s steamy scene with Lady Gaga in the last season of American Horror Story.
“I waited until the night [the episode aired] and said, ‘Come on, I want you to see something!’… And so I’m showing it, and I have the remote and he’s like, ‘Woah, woah, woah, what’s about to happen?!’ I was like, ‘Well pause! What’s going on with you, are you going to be all right?'” Bassett later recalled, while laughing.
