Chip and Joanna Gaine, best known or their show Fixer Upper, first met at the automotive shop run by Joanna’s dad. However, Chip knew Joanna was the one even before the two met. “Her dad made the mistake of putting a pic of the family behind the counter at his [automotive] shop. I knew I’d marry her one day just by the picture on the wall,” he told PopSugar. As it turned out, Chip was right! The couple tied the knot in 2003.
Recently, Joanna opened up about remaining married while working together. “We really enjoy the problem solving, but there comes a point when we need to focus on us,” Joanna said. “We have the weekly date nights where we try our hardest not to talk business.”
