When Branson bought the island, it was completely uninhabited. First, Branson built his private residence on the island. Then, he went to building other a bigger, resort-style home. The 10-bedroom villa is built on the highest hill and can house up to 30 guests. Now a part of Virgin’s residences program, anyone can rent out the entire island, minus Branson’s home, for the small sum of $65,000 per day.
