Actor and comedian Simon Helberg’s 1999 debut was playing a ‘College Roommate’ in “Mumford.” He would go through several similarly small gigs, including “Cursed,” “Old School,” and “Life on a Stick” before landing his big on-screen break. Box office hits like 2004’s “A Cinderella Story” help put him on the map.
Simon’s other memorable appearances include “Undeclared,” “MADtv,” “Joey,” and “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.” But he’s best known for playing Howard Wolowitz on the CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory.” After leaving the science-based comedy sitcom in 2019, he ventured into movies, with well-received projects like 2021’s “Annette” and 2022’s “As They Made Us.”
