9. Steve Carell, Brown’s Chicken Commercial 
ImgurThanks to a boom in 24-hour channels, there were more commercials made during the 1980s than ever before. As a result, some of our favorite current actors got their start as commercial actors in the days of tight jeans and big hair. As you can see in the picture below, one of those actors was the comedian Steve Carell. The actor appeared in a commercial for Brown’s Chicken, playing a hyper employee that loves explaining how delicious their food is.
Now, almost three decades after Carell’s commercial, he is one of the most successful actors in Hollywood. While he’s still most famous for his role as Michael Scott on The Office, Carrell has also starred in major films like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Evan Almighty. Yet, he recently returned to the ad world, with a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi!
