Sara Walsh
Well, Sarah Walsh has undoubtedly come a long way since she started as a sportswriter for the Beaches Leader newspaper in Jacksonville Beach. Afterward, she moved on to WKRN in Nashville, where she hosted the program Monday Night Live every week alongside head coach Jeff Fisher. Most recently, she starred as ESPN’s weekend sports anchor from 2010 to 2017.
Outside of her brilliant career as a sports journalist, Walsh leads a very active lifestyle, like so many female sports anchors. Growing up in Florida, she played on the University of Florida’s soccer team, as a starter. In fact, the anchor still holds the university’s record for goals and points in a single game! In 2014, Walsh wed former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Buschmann. Today, the couple has a set of twins and lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
