Kristine Leahy
Back in 2013, Kristine Leahy made history as the first woman to call a hose race in the state of California. Afterward, she worked with a host of fantastic networks, including FOX Sports, CBS, and Turner Sports. These days, however, most know Kristine Leahy for her highly-rated weekday TV show on FS1, Fair Game with Kristine Leahy.
Off-screen, Leahy’s better known for her strong opinions on the inclusion of women in the sporting arena. In fact, she’s done impressive work improving attitudes towards females in sport. “There are things in the industry that frustrate me,” she wrote in an essay for Glamour magazine. “I want to be a voice for that. The way women are treated across the board is not right. We are still not equal to men. And sadly, not everyone understands that.”
