Just before she gave up entirely, Hauser saw something incredible: another whale coming up from the depths. And, just like the first whale, the second humpback was acting strangely! The second whale swam quickly to the surface, breached, and then began slapping its tail against the surface of the ocean. Not once either! It slapped the water again and again with its tail!
As the pain began to take over Hauser’s body, another shadow emerged in the deep ocean. At first, the marine biologist believed another whale was coming to the surface. However, she quickly realized that was not the case at all.
