Caren Marsh-Doll – 102-Years-Old, Born in 1919 – Gone with the Wind

Not a famous actress herself, many film buffs remember Caren Marsh-Doll as Judy Garland’s stand-in for The Wizard of Oz. Though, through the ’30s and ’40s, Marsh-Doll did earn small roles in big movies like Gone With the Wind. However, despite her best efforts, she never achieved great fame as an actress. Instead, Marsh-Doll became a dance instructor in the ’50s, after her acting career ended.
Today, Caren Marsh-Doll enjoys a peaceful life away from the cameras. She is one of the two last surviving members of The Wizard of Oz‘s cast. At 100 years of age, Marsh-Doll volunteers as a dance therapy instructor at the Palm Springs Stroke Activity Center in California.
