With a fortune circling around $70 million, Bob Barker is not only one of the wealthiest retired celebrities, but also one of the wealthiest stars over 75-years-old! Barker first became a household name by hosting Truth or Consequences, directly after serving in WWII. However, it was his next gig that made him a star forever: host of CBS’ The Price is Right.
As you likely know, Barker hosted the popular game show from 1972 until 2007. That’s the record for any game show host, anywhere! Throughout his career, Barker used his platform to speak up about the cause dearest to his heart: animal rights. Unfortunately for fans, Barker decided to enter retirement back in 2007.
