Part of the acoustic alt-rock scene of the ’90s, “No Rain” by Blind Melon rose to number 20 on the Billboard Top 100, while topping the alt-rock charts. Of course, part of the song’s fame came from the music video, which featured an adorable young girl in a bee costume. Fans fell in love with the outfit, and it inspired plenty of Halloween costumes that year.
Over the years, Blind Melon has never found the same success as they did with “No Rain.” However, the band continues to perform today and released their last album, For My Friends, in 2008.
