Rick Carlisle – Dallas Mavericks’ Coach, $8 Million Net Worth

For many years, it seemed like the Dallas Mavericks would never win another championship. However, Rick Carlisle has proven doubters wrong. In the ’80s, as a player, he played for the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and New Jersey Nets, before becoming a coach. Then, in 2008, Carlisle signed a four-year deal with the Mavericks’ owner, Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban, to take over the head coach job from Avery Johnson.
Now, Carlisle has the Mavericks back to winning, after five straight years of losing! What’s more, Carlisle is one of only eleven people to win an NBA championship both as a player and as a coach. In 2015, he recorded his 600th win in a game against the Heat. Afterward, he signed a new five-year deal, estimated to be worth $8 million!
