Tom Herman – University of Texas’ Head Coach, $12 Million Net Worth

Most still considered Tom Herman something of a “newbie” when he earned the University of Houston’s head coach position, at the beginning of the 2015 season. Amazingly, in his first year, he managed to lead his team, with a 13-1 record, to a Peach Bowl win. After two short seasons with Houston, the University of Texas hired him to be the head coach of the Longhorns, one of the biggest teams in all of college football.
While he had a rough start at the University of Texas, Herman turned it around to defeat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl and finish in the top 10 AP rankings. As a result of his success, Texas extended his contract, which would’ve extended to 2021, to 2023.
