Actress Jada Pinkett Smith seems to have done it all. Almost everyone knows her acting work, Facebook talk show, and marriage to actor Will Smith. However, few know that she once fronted a metal band. Meanwhile, even fewer know that she’s actually a minority owner of the basketball team, the Philadelphia 76ers. That’s right!
“Maybe Willow can perform at halftime,” then-Sixers guard Evan Turner tweeted of the Smith’s singer-songwriter daughter, after the Smiths bought into the team. Since becoming minority owners, it’s fairly common to see Jada and Will attending games. Of course, the investment was just a splash in the pan for Jada, who has a $60 million net worth all of her own.
