Businessman Robert Kraft works as the Kraft Group CEO, a holding company with assets in newspapers, sports, entertainment, and real estate. Of all Kraft’s holding, by far the most famous is the NFL team the New England Patriots. However, many do not know that he also owns both the soccer team New England Revolution and the Gillette Stadium, where both teams play.
Kraft purchased The Patriots back in 1994 for a mere $172 million, the highest price ever paid for an NFL team at the time. What’s more, Kraft said that his passion for the Patriots led him to “break every one of my financial rules” in his pursuit of the team. In fact, he still keeps a New England poster in his office as a reminder of what allowed him to buy his home team!
