Actors can make millions for just one movie or TV show season. But these actors were talented enough to nab the highest-paying gigs in Hollywood!
Harrison Ford — Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, $65 Million
Only a few actors would come out of retirement to reprise an iconic role. As one of the most bankable stars in history, Harrison Ford enjoys a successful career that spans nearly six decades, yet he doesn’t shy away from the spotlight even now. He has appeared in two phenomenal film franchises, as Han Solo in Star Wars and the titular role of Indiana Jones .
In particular, Ford earned a massive fortune for his work on Indiana Jones . He reportedly received a $5.9-million paycheck for the first movie, another $4.5 million for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and $4.9 million for The Last Crusade . However, the actor’s biggest paycheck was cashed when Paramount Pictures convinced him to come out of retirement to reprise his iconic role in The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The high price point was no doubt a part of what was so enticing! Ford’s $65-million fee paid off when the movie enjoyed global box office success worth $790 million!
