Before Gal Gadot, there was Lynda Carter. The iconic Wonder Woman actress made fans fall in love with her beauty and strength. Unbeknownst to some, Carter played the role of Lorraine Dillon in the “Design” episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The Arizona-born beauty queen also worked on film and television projects like Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw, The Dukes of Hazzard, Tattered Angel, Smallville, and Supergirl.
Beyond her Hollywood career, Carter is a staunch advocate of spreading awareness of breast cancer, feminist rights, and LGBT+ rights. Recently, the original Wonder Woman graced the film Wonder Woman 1984 as Asteria.
