British actor and director Ken Campbell appeared on four episodes of the U.K. miniseries Law & Order as Alex Gladwell.
Prior to his work on film and television, he spent his younger years as an actor and playwright in the U.K.’s thriving theater scene. His work on theater productions include The Warp, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and VALIS. As one of the pioneers of experimental theater, he has been called “a one-man dynamo of British theater” due to his historical, mindblowing productions. Campbell became a famous figure in the U.K. art scene for his nine-hour play Illuminatus! and the 22-hour long staging of The Warp, both based on novels of the same names.
