Canadian singer Celine Dion’s former Florida is so unthinkably large that she worried about finding a buyer when it came time to flip it. The most impressive part of the home was not inside, however. Dion decided to hire a swimming pool builder to turn the backyard into an actual water theme park, including water cannons and slides.
Thankfully, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer managed to find a buyer for the home in 2017. However, she sold it for just $28 million, well under her $72 million asking price. This teaches homeowners a valuable lesson: something cool doesn’t always add value!
