In the most recent royal wedding, the royal family spent a couple of extra millions in security plans, as millions of people gathered around the streets to get a glimpse of the royal couple. In fact, five times more people watched Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle’s wedding live on TV than Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding.
What’s more, this venue was a Hollywood-royalty meets real-royal event: among the guests were Oprah Winfrey, the Beckhams, George and Amal Clooney and many more. What’s more, the cost of the cake, florists, and the catering had been estimated to be $50,000, $100,000, and $286,000 respectively. Ultimately, the wedding cost $45 million, which is nothing compared to the trigger tourism boom that boosted the economy up to $500 million!
