Ever since she was a little girl, Meghan Markle knew she was destined to be a star. Her first on-screen job was a small role as a nurse on the TV series General Hospital, which her father also worked on. From there, Meghan had some difficulty getting parts early in her career. Nevertheless, she appeared in CSI: NY, The War at Home, Deal or No Deal, and others between 2004 and 2011.
In 2011, Markle’s hard work paid off when she joined the cast of the show Suits for seven seasons. Reportedly, Meghan made $50,000 per episode, for an annual salary of $450,000. However, she didn’t stop there! In 2014, Meghan founded the lifestyle website The Tig, where she wrote about fashion, food, beauty, among other topics. The blog was a success, reaching 3 million followers on Instagram alone! As a lifestyle blogger, Meghan earned an additional $80,000 per year.
