The Queen’s Wealth Extends Far Beyond Property

You might think that all the Queen’s wealth comes from property; however, that’s not so! The Queen also owns an immense royal stamp collection her father King George VI passed down to her. Furthermore, she has numerous high-valued works of art and a massive stock portfolio. However, contrary to popular thought, she does not own national treasures, like the Crown Jewels. While such national treasures are part of the Royal Collection, they are on loan from the nation.
The Royal Collection contains tons of paintings, pieces of furniture, tapestries, photographs, and other valuable objects. Everything just mentioned is spread out between royal residences. Moreover, particular palaces like Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace are also held in trust.
