Kanye West is a man of many talents, now. Not only is he a rapper, record producer, and television star, but he’s also a fashion designer and, now, pastor! But before he became a massive superstar, West was just a young kid who developed an affinity for writing poetry at just five-years-old. Incredibly, by seventh grade, he was already rapping and creating his own mixtapes!
However, many do not know that West first entered Hollywood as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records back in the 2000s. While there, he produced several hits for artists like Beanie Sigel and Freeway. After a few years, though, West decided to pursue a career as a rapper and released his first album, The College Dropout, in 2004. Today, West is one of the world’s best-selling artists, having sold over 140 million records worldwide! So it’s no wonder he has amassed a fortune of $240 million!
