For those not in the know, as the founder of Netflix, Reed Hastings is the man behind the streaming service explosion. However, even before his massive success with Netflix, Hasting earned million investing in the likes of Facebook and Microsoft after founding his first company, Pure Software.
Apparently, Hasting had always dreamed of inventing a better movie rental system, ever since the 80s. And, when he co-founded Netflix, he got his wish! Today, with nearly 160 million subscribers worldwide, Netflix has boosted Hastings’ fortune and helped grow his net worth to $3.5 billion. It’s safe to say that he’s come a long from his days as a vacuum salesman!
