However, while most assume Peterson was always Elvira, it actually took her some time to find her horror-loving personality. Back in the ’70s, Peterson worked as both a dancer and rock n roll singer, before transitioning into acting. After a few roles, she created Elvira.
Luckily for us, Elvira has revealed her secret to aging flawlessly, though most fans aren’t going to love it. When asked how she manages to always look so great, the Queen of the night simply replied: “Well, I am a vampire.”
