One of the many incredibly talented French actresses to have aged flawlessly, Fanny Ardant began her career back in 1967 with the film The Dogs. However, she didn’t receive worldwide recognition until after starring alongside the one and only, Gerard Depardieu, in the classic The Woman Next Door back in the early ’80s.
Unlike many American actresses, however, Ardant says that the secret to aging well does not lie in a bottle of anti-aging cream. In fact, quite the opposite. You see, the actress believes that aging gracefully comes from taking control of your life, while also becoming confident in your own skin. “Once you hit 40, you finally know yourself and what suits you. [You] have real confidence,” she said in 2016.
