Just like her husband Sergey Brinn, Anne Wojcicki has been blessed with a great scientific mind. It’s great they found equals in one other! While she works as a biologist and runs her own genetics company, Brinn also helped co-found Google. The pair started dating in the late ’90s, finally marrying in 2007.
However, even though these two seemed perfect for one another, a long-lasting marriage was not in the cards for Brinn and Wojcicki. Still, Wojcicki did not let the separation hold her back! A few years after leaving Brinn, she became the founder and CEO of 23andMe, a website that gives its users information about their DNA. While we don’t know how much Wojcicki received as part of their separation settlement, it’s safe to assume it was a big chunk of Brinn’s $40 billion fortune!
