One of the youngest stars of the game, Fernando Tatis Jr., is sure to make quite the splash in the MLB. The 22-year-old shortstop, nicknamed “El Nino,” has played for the San Diego Padres since 2019. Despite having been in the game for only two years, Tatis Jr., the son of famed baseball legend Fernando Tatís Sr., has already earned the Silver Slugger Award. Not only that, but he’s also signed a ten-year, $330 million contract with the Padres. So fans can certainly expect his $10 million net worth to rise soon!
Sadly, in spring 2021, Fernando Tatis Jr. confirmed he has contracted coronavirus, just a few months into the season. Hopefully, it will not hurt his career!
