As you might imagine, Kate picked her sister, Peppa Middleton, as her maid of honor for her Royal wedding. After all, there’s no one better than your sister to carry your long train down the aisle!
On the other hand, royal bride Meghan Markle decided not to have a maid of honor. In fact, she had a very different idea in mind. Meghan chose to have her page boys in charge of carrying her long veil into the church. Oddly, the Duchess of Sussex never really explained why she decided not to follow that tradition. Still, sources did reveal that Meghan and Harry spent nearly $3,000 on outfits for the younglings.
