In fact, The Street ranked it No. 7 of the best places for retirees to move to due to its “pleasant climate and low cost of living.”
Not only that, but North Carolina also has one of the strongest economies in the nation, thanks to a growing GDP and young population. In fact, Charlotte has become a hub for banking. Meanwhile, other North Carolina’s cities’ big industries include food processing, technology, vehicle parts, among many others.
