Rory McCann played Sandor Clegane, aka The Hound, with ferocity and nuance on “Game of Thrones.” Interestingly, before pursuing acting, he worked as a bridge painter and landscape gardener. After his impressive turn on the show, Rory set out to further demonstrate his acting versatility by taking on a variety of roles.
He wowed viewers in the crime thriller “The Fear” and the horror picture “The Ritual.” Rory also showcased his comedic talent in the series “Porridge” and displayed his dramatic prowess in the thriller “The Courier.” He is an accomplished musician, skilled in playing the guitar and the harmonica, and used to entertain fellow cast members on set.
