Weathermen and women often receive some of the worst assignments in the newsrooms. After all, they regularly need to head into heavy rain or freezing snow. So, when Global News weather reporter Rob Leth had to cover the opening of an intertube sledding attraction, he thought it would be a walk in the park. But that’s not the way it would turn out!
After Leth finished his report, he ended his segment with an innertube toboggan race. Unfortunately, the children were having too much fun and did not keep their eyes ahead. One of the racers hit Leth head-on, sending him head over heels! Thankfully, Leth seemed to walk the flip off, even managing to sign off before collapsing into the snow.
