After they found the Roman sword, the Lagina brothers could not wait to continue digging into the Money Pit. Over the next years, the team continued to discover unusual items in the pit. Next, they uncovered what the brothers believed to be initially a part of an ancient book. In due time, Rick became convinced that it was part of a “building book,” detailing the Money Pit layout. Sadly, more of the book has yet to be uncovered.
Meanwhile, not far away from the book fragment, the team discovered a piece of parchment, likely made from animal skin. Most historians date it back to late medieval times! While the parchment did not contain any significant information, it came from roughly the same period as Zena Halpern’s map. Rick and Marty felt closer than ever to the treasure!
